Gagging Order

Single-handedly, Brian Pead is keeping the Legal System thoroughly employed. He appeared in Court again today despite having no papers served on him and no trial bundle to read before the Hearing. This masquerade for British Justice is included in his twelfth book – “Lambeth Council: The Fallout.” Contributions to the book will be made by those present in Court today. Witnesses for the Prosecution did not appear in Court. (This is a recurring theme in Mr Pead’s cases. The legal system dispenses with evidence, trial bundles, the Civil [and Criminal] Procedure Rules, and even witnesses. Their attitude is “We don’t need to adhere to the official protocols, we’ll just say he’s guilty and everyone will believe us. This is the Google Generation … everyone will Google him and see such awful stuff about him at the click of a mouse and they won’t bother to ask: (a) was there ever a victim? (b) where is the evidence to prove his guilt? (c) why witnesses didn’t turn up in Court and (d) what have the authorities got to gain by … Continue reading

Book Reviewer upsets Police and Judiciary

Following this post on Amazon yesterday, the links to the book from Hillsborough to Lambeth were taken down by Amazon (or not working!): You have to laugh at the sheer stupidity and desperation of the alleged “book reviews” here. Examine the pattern: [i] If we keep using the phrase “convicted sex offender” the sheep out there might believe us and think Mr Pead is a sex offender [ii] If we only give it one star, everybody will think the book is rubbish [iii] If we use words like `drivel’ the sheep will believe that it actually is rubbish [iv] Hopefully nobody will see that our book reviews are actually being used to defame and impugn Mr Pead [but never co-author Mr Bird] [v] Hopefully nobody will see that we actually tried to impugn the dead at Hillsborough [vi] Hopefully nobody will see that we don’t rely on facts, just attention-seeking headlines I, on the other hand, looked at the facts: [i] These “reviewers” never give their real names – how brave of them to hide behind anonymous posts [a tactic … Continue reading

Amazon remove from Hillsborough to Lambeth from its website

The authors of the book from Hillsborough to Lambeth were alarmed to learn today that AMAZON – who claim to be the biggest bookseller in the world – have taken down links to both the paperback and the Kindle versions from their website, thus preventing the general public from having the opportunity to access openness and accountability. Liberty Human Rights state that: “…Public bodies in a democratic society should be transparent in their work and in the information they hold…” Failure to allow this book to be distributed militates against this basic right of open democracy. This unlawful move also breaches Article 10 of the Human Rights Act 1998, the Right to Freedom of Expression. This follows a balanced book review last evening in which the reviewer highlighted the pattern that had been noticeable in the poor reviews (always giving the book just 1 star and always making unfounded and defamatory judgments against Brian Pead and not making any comment whatsoever in respect of co-author Michael Bird.) This Reviewer had also highlighted the fact that Mr Pead cannot be guilty … Continue reading

Brian Pead assaulted: Essex Police do nothing

Today at midday, Brian Pead was assaulted by the driver of a silver Peugeot 407, number plate SY57 ZTO. The driver, a man of swarthy complexion and wearing glasses, had the previous evening harassed Mr Pead’s elderly neighbour by ringing her bell at 9pm, long after she had gone to bed. On this occasion, the man knocked loudly at Mr Pead’s door and returned to his car. He waited for over an hour and then knocked loudly again before returning to his car for a second time. Mr Pead went up to the car and asked the man who he was, what he wanted and who he worked for. Upon receiving no replies, Mr Pead took a photo of the man and stood in front of the car and took photos of the numberplate. Whilst doing this, the man started his engine and drove straight at Brian Pead, hurting his kneecaps. He then reversed quickly and repeated this five times, before reversing the wrong way down a one-way road and into a T-junction. Mr Pead called Essex Police (Rachel, collar … Continue reading

IPCC leaves public ‘frustrated’ and ‘faithless’

The following material is copyright of itv.com: Following a scathing report on the IPCC from the Home Affairs Select Committee, committee chairman Keith Vaz says the police watchdog leaves the public “frustrated and faithless”: “…When public trust in the police is tested by complaints of negligence, misconduct and corruption, a strong watchdog is vital to get to the truth – but the IPCC leaves the public frustrated and faithless. “…Nearly a quarter of officers were subject to a complaint last year. Many were trivial, but some were extremely serious, involving deaths in custody or corruption – it is an insult to all concerned to do no more than scratch the surface of these alleged abuses. “…The IPCC investigated just a handful and often arrived at the scene late, when the trail had gone cold. The Commission is on the brink of letting grave misconduct go uninvestigated…” Brian Pead and All Around Justice and others connected with his miscarriages of justice, have written on several occasions to the IPCC, who have done nothing. It is hardly ‘independent’, being staffed by police … Continue reading
