Brian Pead, Michael Bird meet retired detective DCI Clive Driscoll

Earlier today, the co-authors of from Hillsborough to Lambeth Brian Pead and Michael Bird, met retired Scotland Yard detective Clive Driscoll at the Port Jackson public house in Bishop’s Stortford.

Driscoll informed Brian that he was flagged up as a “major threat” at Scotland Yard because of his research and books and that he had suffered persecution by Scotland Yard for almost a decade since he exposed child abuse in Lambeth Council. Driscoll added that Brian’s family had also suffered unnecessarily.

The retired detective stated that Lambeth Council had been “particularly vicious” to Brian. This corroborates the sentiments of Alex Passman, an employment law specialist, who told Brian in April 2007 “You are being set up by Lambeth Council.”

The three men discussed several others topics, some of which must remain private for the time being due to legal reasons.
