With the Leveson Inquiry Report hot off the press, Brian Pead and Michael Bird visited the offices of the Southend Echo. Pead had written to their MP, James Duddridge, and sent him incontrovertible evidence of police and judicial corruption.
Duddridge’s response was to write to Pead and tell him “Please do not correspond with me further”. Apart from being constitutionally unsound, Duddridge’s letter breaks the Parliamentary Code of Conduct and Duddridge has now implicated himself in a cover-up.
Pead and Bird obtained a receipt from the Southend Echo for three documents proving corruption.
